You going to post some pics when done. I like the gmaxx chassis my self.

I like my gmaxx chassis also, but what i reall like is the fact that george ( gorilla maxx owner) holds his tolerences really tight. The quality is awsome.

the chassis are also pretty tough as well mine has been through a lot
did you get the carbonfiber or alluminum one

Guerilla 01.31.2006 05:39 PM

I brought the alloy,

I did notice how great a fit evry thing was, will go well with my G3 race suspension ect

The quality, fit and finish is what attracted me to Gorillamaxx a couple years ago and I have been working with George ever since. Top notch stuff! Glad you got everything quick, Richard.

gorillamaxx is awesome and the adjustability of the G3 suspension is great

coolhandcountry 01.31.2006 08:32 PM

Chassis and the g3 suspension. that sounds awesome. could you post a pic. I would like to see when finished. Should be a light weight truck. Could you get a weight when done to?

Sylvester 01.31.2006 08:42 PM

Yes, the chassis and g3 suspension are very well machined, just when putting it together make sure you take your time!

i have the g3 suspension and alluminum chassis with an HV maxx brushless(which i am not very proud of but it does well on a very small and tight indoor track that is ment for 1/12 scales)with 14 cells it weighs a little over 10 pounds

Yea No Probs,

I keep thinking of a Stock max just with all gorillmaxx Parts, i think that would be quite cool

I dont think it will be to light, its all alloy. Ive got evry single parts apart from A couple of stock slipper parts, CVD's, Diffs, Pillow Balls and servo saver. But UE are out of stock so it could be a while ...........

The parts ive put together (Chassis, K-Factory Aerial, Motor Mount, Extension Kit, 40mm Fan, Battery straps) all look great. Plus Got all other parts waiting (apart from those mentioned above). Started this truck without even a single screw from an E-Maxx

Thanks

Are you guys just talking about the chassis? Or the whole kit with suspension? Which is better?

neweuser 03.03.2006 09:41 AM

I'm thinking of getting the G# racing suspension for 279.00, is this a good idea? Or just get the chassis?

neweuser 03.03.2006 09:42 AM

Ooops, it's suppose to say G3....sorry guys, not enough coffee!!! Where's my wheelchair? lol

Sylvester 03.03.2006 09:52 AM

The chassis would be my first upgrade, if you can, get the g3 suspension, its very nice suspension, durable, and look very nice! And it will be alot ligher if you use only 4 shocks:)
