Making the e-revo brushless waterproof?

Hi guys, Im interested in getting an e-revo brushless but only problem is that its not waterproof like its sibling. Any way to get it waterproof? OR should I just get its sibling? Thanks!

A bit difficult to make the ESC waterproof as it needs air flow to cool down. And the lipos used to power the MMM really don't like water.

Yep, if you want to run in water a lot, or submerse it, I'd say just get the non-BL Revo.

So I will add to this...

I have a savage flux on the way and originally planned to not run it in the winter. Now I have seen a few vids of guys running them through some water(not exactly puddles, but wet tracks and snow).

How much water can the system take? I would obviously not run it through deep snow...

I just use a shower cap and cover the whole chassis

Just make sure the motor doesn't get too hot and melt the cap...

I know a certain battery company has been putting out ads showing their lipo in a fishbowl and claiming it's completely waterproof. You will have to be the judge of that though. Their rep around here isn't exactly stellar...
