CRT.5 first time at the track
 

WOW! Man does it do so much better than the nitro version. I was running the Picco red dot turbo, The little old Traxxas Velinion is even better. I have the MMM ESC and the Velenion motor running 2S 16T. I even ran the Gladiator tires, got motor a bit warm but what do you expect with that gearing. The Bowties much better.

Wasn't anything there faster around the track than the Jammin, The Slayers were sloppy, The 1/8scales too big for my local track, well you know a Slash is a Slash. I am so happy with the truck I cant wait till my motor burns up and I get a Medusa. More fun than my 8T brushless! Not faster but more fun!

I wouldn't wish that upon the Velineon motor. Its has its good and bad applications and in the CRT.5 its a good application. I would run this motor and run it hard, not abusive, and get the most out of it.

yeah, the CRT.5 is a nice little truck. If you want better runtimes, go with 3s and then gear down to 12-13T.

I love my crt.5. I wish that I could race it...I miss racing.:whip:
