Pretty nice. Got the Lincpimp/Mistercrash center diff...That's the secret weapon!! :intello:

On 4s it's pretty fast, probably around 40mph.

Looks good. Basically the same set up as mine. I am using the 3905 trans on 6s so we shall see how long the trans. holds up!:mdr:

Here is a pic of mine...http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/j...e/DSC02285.jpg

Thanks Mag! But urs is soo much prettier :yipi: lol
Ya, I had to shave down the top of my tranny just to make the spur mech w/the 22t pinion...basically there's only a paper-thin layer of plastic left on the top  but so far it's holding up well. I'm going to the track later to check on her handling on jumps and corners...

magman 07.01.2009 01:26 PM

I am running a 62T spur which is the smallest I can run due to the motor hits on the trans. case

Very nice looking conversions, I like them. I like the fact that it is well balanced with a lipo on either side of the chassis. I often think that even though I have the E Revo Brushless Edition, sometimes I have the urge to mount everything on the 3.3 aluminum chassis just like a conversion because IMHO, the aluminum chassis is tougher than the nylon composite chassis of the ERBE.

I also have this sitting on my self as well as another option....but, I am probably going to sell it seeing I have so much time invested into this set up....I really don't want to start over again right now swapping things over

I love my truck! but it nose dives a lot, I guess I need to get the feel for it; I've only driven it twice at the track...is this common for revos to nose dive? I guess more throttle on takeoff is the answer...right?

mopar1994 07.06.2009 12:19 AM

you could put a few ounces of weight in the back of your revo to make it nose dive a little less

grevo26maxx 07.06.2009 09:26 AM

Yeah I like that Kershaw chassis and I will get one when they have more in stock I think,,, Looks tough

grevo26maxx 07.06.2009 09:28 AM

Hey guys is there another thread that shows how the emaxx tranny goes into the 3.3 chassis and like what all has to be done.. Need to make that in stickey here someplace as I see alot of people with them.. I'm not liking the stock tranny on my revo with BL

JThiessen 07.06.2009 01:22 PM

Fitting the 3906 tranny is relatively straight forward. You'll need to drill/cut a couple mounting holes, and dremmel out the hump a little to clear the CVD. If you do a revo conversion search, there were many of them well documented from a couple years ago.

Uregoner - not sure why yours nose dives - looks like you have the weight well towards the rear. Maybe you need to adjust what you are doing with the throttle when you go off the jump, or it could be your springs.

Do you have drag brake enabled?

To correct the nosedive in mid air, just blip the throttle.

jzemaxx 07.06.2009 02:40 PM

Hmm those setups look familiar....LOL. Also if its nose diving....get on the gas...lol

Urgeoner 07.15.2009 07:43 PM

jzemaxx lol...my inspiration thanks for checkin it out and the advice!
Brian-Ya I had it on drag brake 20%, took that $hit off completely and now I lost a center dogbone...expecting one from RCAlloys this week sometime.
I think that I'll ziptie the dogbones in case they come out again...as sort of a way to restrain them from flying away.
