4h runtimes ?

I have an hbx/redcat 1/8 scale crawler with twin 100 540 motors and i'd like to have about 4h of runtime's on a single lipopack :O) is thar possibel without hurting the preformase ? and how many mah do i need ? i runt it on 3s lipo's rigt no w with an sidewinder esc and u-bec and twin servos.

I'm sure it's possible, but without hurting performance? Not likely. The weight would surely be a factor.

But, for giggles, just post your runtime and current battery capacity.

for nowi run 2x3s 1800mah desirepower 22c lipos in parallel som the total kap is 3600mah and i get about 1-1/2 + of runtime ! and that issome hardcore craweling :O) lots of vertical rock's and wheellocking passages and so on.

So iquess i need something like 7000mah + ? but since lipos are mutch lighter than ni-mh's i think it would be possible to run a 8000mah 3s pack in this rig :O) . it'd made for 1 or 2 6cell ni-mhpack's

You probably could run 8k, but it would be heavy.

So, with your current setup, your average current draw is 2.4A. For four hours runtime, you'd need around 10Ah (a little extra was figured in to account for the reduced runtime from added weight).
