Looking for a new Brushless Something.. Thoughts?

After completing my 8ight-t 1.0 conversion i have convinced the wifey to let me get another kit. I do not know what i want tho. she said ok, so im here seeking advice, comments. Whatever i get i will be BL. So far i have my eye on an Lst2, a Buggy of some sort (not sure what kind, Ideals?) or maybe another truggy. Input, thoughts, suggestions? I cant decide, i only run on a track, and club race only.

You have a truggy the 8t is track and bashable...

If you want a pure racer get a Hyper 9e...

e-revo?

If you want a "kit", get the D8 buggy.

I would say get a Losi buggy... apart from having new category to have fun with.. if you take both of them to raceday, you will have a lot of spares that are interchangable(is that a word?:) , proven very usefull last time..

friend of mine could not resist, bought a buggy, maybe to race it someday, hit a huuuge jump in very high speed (accidentaly .. you know) and ended with left rear drivetrain completely destroyed... took out .. ehm... like small chainsaw... cut out few parts, took those from buggy and in20minutes was racing again...

I will be getting buggy from xray too when I will feel the same urge as you ;)

i would get a 1/8 truggy. i actually really want to convert a HPI hellfire....

Matrix Tr, parts are tough, and lots of parts available for cheap on ebay...

BL_RV0 07.16.2009 02:10 PM

Lst2.

Mini Hyper STE...

He said he wanted to hit the track up only... might be a fun car to do that...

If you really want to race and hone your skills get a 2wd 10th scale buggy, like a xxx-cr... Comes as a kit, needs no upgrades and will handle a simple brushless setup, like a sidewinder 4600 on 2s. Plenty of skill required to race, and I am sure your track has that class.

i want to stick with 1/8th. i have a line on a LST2 we will see what happens, still looking for more advice, ideals

Bondonutz 07.16.2009 05:41 PM

As much as I love my E-LST2's I wouldn't recomend one for a guy who only runs on the track. After driving your 8ight-T you probably will not like the handling of the LST2 ???
Shoot for a Buggy or a another Truggy, if you prefer a kit the D8 is a fine candidate ? My 2cents.
