Another 8T ?

I have found and received a 1.0 8T Race roller still in the box with a tekno conversion to still in the box to. My ? is should i get and losi conversion or use the tekno conversion. It looks to me that the motor wires for the cc mmm 2200 will not make it to the esc unless they are made longer and i dont know if thats a good thing to do or not.It looks to me that the losi kit is a little more balanced and the motor and esc are side by side.Any thoughts.

I would take a Tekno conversion kit over a Losi conversion kit any day. Extending the motor/ESC wires won't be a problem at all. If you want another conversion kit other than Tekno, then I'd go with the RC-Monster motor mount and battery tray, which in my opinion is much better than the Losi conversion.

Mount the ESC over the center on a plate off the motor.. works great, ive been running like that for a while.. racing and all. I just used a small chunk of aluminum I had in my box.

I can relate with your ?. Go with what you got, It's the best conversion on the market.

Okay i will go with what i got when making wires longer do i use bullets/ wire or a single solid splice per wire. That would be soldered either way.

I have both kits and that LOSI KITS IS JUNK. only thing worth using is the motor support. the spur gear on the kit has to be shaved down so it wont rub, you will not be able to use any other spur gear unless u cut a hole in your chassis, the list goes on. TEKNO FTW!

I combined the RCM mount & Losi bits...I hate wires
