 thats right i forgot it was 1518, but the question still stands |
It would be nice if castle came out with different motor sizes and alot of different kv's like tekin did
|
I also would greatly appreciate a lower KV mill regardless.

castle needs to step up after medusa went out of business.. We need to see more 4 pole, slotted motors similar to neu/medusa.

this is why im wanting the castle 1800kv motor, i was going to buy a medusa 36-80 but they arent going to warrenty them so castle is my next choice |
It seems like castle is avoiding this topic... I wish we could just get a yes or a no on if they are ever going to make these.

I am definetly looking forward to this motor. So we are talking same diameter as the 2200, but longer can with 5mm shaft and standard mounting screw pattern?
|
Yes sir. Should be in between the 1515 and 1521 in length. This will be a phenomenal Truggy/MT motor. I will buy another Truggy just to put it in....
|
Weren't medusa's machine wound? I think part of the reason the castle motors don't have as much variety is that theyre all hand wound like neus, but unlike neu's aren't individually made to order, so they need to have a decent stock, and to do that for 5 billion different motor choices all hand wound would be massively expensive and probably not practical, I think they picked the most popular/applicable sizes to keep stock of... initially, anyway.

The Castle/neus are NOT hand wound, they are machine wound
