8ight 2.0 shock and diff oil for brushless

I was wondering if someone can give me an idea of what oil for the shock and differentials should I be using for 8ight 2.0 with brushless conversion, i just want a stable and easy to drive setup. I want to stick with stock but I dont know if its going to affect anything after the conversion, I will be using Tekno kit.

The Teckno kit has a lot more flex than even the flex chassis of the Losi 2.0 kit, so shock setups may be different than you are currently running. Here's a link to a few Pro setups for the 8ight-E. http://www.losi.com/Products/Support...rodID=LOSA0806

is flex bad? is there anyway I can reduce the flex in the tekno kit? aluminum braces?

or is there a better way for me to convert than using Tekno kit? i haven't bought anything just yet

If you want to run a clutch and mechanical brakes then the Tekno kit is great. One of the guys at my track runs a Tekno 8ight this way and it handles very well, but has some issues on big jumps. On hard landings it will flex enough to blow out the clutch bearings. Some of this is because of the flexible chassis and some is because the motor is mounted seperately from the center diff.

Personally I really like the RCM motor mount and the Losi battery tray, or the complete Losi conversion kit.

im going with RCM mount and losi battery tray solution :)
