does anyone know if the new, bigger, tmaxx uses the same size and pitch of spur gear as the previous 3.3 model. the bigger tires must demand a lower ratio. can anyone confirm?

Its the same pitch but its not the same size. more teeth=bigger spur gear.

is that compatible with rrp bell? how many teeth? i recently put summit tires on my truck and it seems to be lacking in the torque dept.

it will work with your clutch bell.
