Does anyone know what size the Battery Compartments are on the E-Revo? I have one coming this week and want to know what im going to need for it, battery wise? Im def going to run 2x 2s 5000mAh 30C packs. HobbyCity has some deals on those right now. 30-40 bucks depending on what u get and they just released the 30c packs last week for 4,5,6 cell lipos

Couple of em are hardpacks which doesnt really matter to me.

So dimensions on the E-Revo Brushless Edition Battery tray is?????

I'm not a fan of the red Flightmax 4000mAh packs. I got the initial ones that had horrible soldering on the cell tabs to the PCB (I mean horrible!...worse I've ever seen even on commercial products). They're rated for 100A, but I popped packs (by opening up a solder joint at the cell tab to PCB interface) running 60A setups! They're supposedly fixed their solder issues on those packs, but the way the wiring comes out still isn't friendly to most of my setups. I haven't tried the other ones so can't comment. But I plan to pick some of those up too.

The pack size is on the traxxas forum under EREVO in the FAQ section. There is even a drawing that shows the dimensions. I know that on mine i can just squeeze in hyperion G3 3s 5500 pack. But once the door is closed it takes a lot to be able to get it back open again

The Flightmax 2s 5000mah 30C are what I bought and they fit snugly. The wire has to be facing inward for them to fit.
