Found a good motor for CRT.5 and Hyper STe users

Since Medusa is gone that means it's going to be hard as hell to find a 36-50-3300kv.

You can get a 1409/1.5D 3600kv Neu for only $150. If I remember correctly that is only $25 more than the Medusa.

......or you could support RCM Monster Mike and get a killer motor for $140.....

That is a super motor. However that Mega's kv rating is a little high for anything except 2s. Most like to run the 3300kv because its good for 2s,3s,4s setups if you want.

Email Mike though, pretty sure he can get you the Neu motor.

check lincpimp's motor forsale thread. the aveox 36/xx/xx motors are potent little motors. they are of neu quality, and will be serviced by neumotors

also, for about $150 you can get one of the castle neu motors, which fit with Mikes crt.5 mount. Overkill? mabye, but thats what you expect at RC-Monster

i'm thinking about trying the 3500kv L length KD motor on hobbycity. it is only $28 and they are supposed to be good as long as you keep them under 40k rpm.

if i still somehow have overheating issues with a 60mm motor, i guess i'll just dish out the dough for a 1409.

also, i'm pretty sure the kv ratings are wrong for the 1409 and 1412 motors right now. they should have the same kv rating as their 15xx counterpart.

kd motors suck and are hit or miss. it might work for you or it might add to global warming on your first run. get a neu and be happy and have good customer service. Also buy american. You get what you pay for.......

Don't waste your time on those heat monster ticking time bombs. KD's suck!
