Need help from Gorillamaxx!!!

I'm all built and ready to go with my G3R and have a standard transmission with the thing locked into second gear for now. My concern is once I put some real power to this set up that its not going to last long. What can I do to convince you to produce some G1 set ups so I can have this thing bullet proof. Please let me know. Ill be glad to pay more or what ever it might take.

Thanks in advance
Derrick

define real power. standard maxx transmission with steel idlers can take a lot of punishment.

Whats a g1 setup? I have a g-maxx single speed kit with a ue idler in my all aluminum g2-maxx and its holding up fine with the slipper tight and good traction. Its actually too powerful on 6s and unless you running 8s I doubt you are making more power than me.

G1 is the gorilllamaxx singlespeed kit for the emaxx tranny. Contact RCM Mike, owner of this forum. He might be able to machine something for you.

The G1 is only out of stock, it will come back in sooner or later... (famous last words).

Are you sure about that?
Because there is no G3 and no G3R chassis left to put an old maxx-tranny in, so one may think (especially from gorillamaxx's point of view) there is no need for a single speed conversion anymore.
That's not my personal opinion but the thing I would most likely expekt to happen.

Ive tried to email Gorilla Maxx directly twice with no response??? It just seems screwing the dog carrier to 2nd gear or epoxying it is only going to hold up to so much. I just wish now I had the extra money when I bought the chassis to buy the G1 kit. Anyone have an email for RCM Mike that you could message to me.

Well, it may be defunct now that traxxas has released their beefed up emaxx/erevo tranny, but that doesnt mean the G1 kit is no longer popular- there are an aweful lot of people with old emaxxes and emaxx trannies who want to beef up their trucks still, will be for a long time; kind of like classic cars- just because its an old car doesnt mean someone out there isnt still making parts for it.

That said, pretty much everything is out of stock on the website, not the best of signs....

[rcmonstermike@gmail.com] Mike's contact address, just remove the brackets.
