Here's my E maxx for now...

Here's my emaxx for now. Total weight is around 8 and 1/4 pounds and less than 8 pounds when using Revo Response tires.

It's got the single speed. C4012s geared 12/66 4s4400 lipo rated at 12C and 16C for 10 seconds. Mtroniks Truck, Spectrum radio, and the 200oz .10 second airtronics servo.

Also is the titanium drive shafts, T Bonz CVDs, aluminum hexes and the UE servo saver (really nice btw). The Fastlane shock towers and Integy shocks.

G maxx carbon extra long. I have not had a chance to install the 1/8 diff or the hybrid bulkheads yet - will be doing that soon. Also have the UE CVDs to go with the 1/8 diffs. Also have the g-maxx suspension kit that is not installed yet and titanium balls and 4 mm 1/8 scale ti rods too. I have them, just not installed cuz no time!!!

All electronics on one side and batt on other side give about perfect balance actually. When I go 5s lipo on one side, I have to use a larger motor for better balance. Right now, it is setup for small indoor tracks with top speed around 30 mph. With 5s it'll be around 38 mph (with bigger motor or course).

Nice truck lipomax. What kind of runtimes are you getting? I'll be that thing is real snappy out of the corners. :dft012:

nice truck and you'll like the g-maxx suspension for indoor racing

Looks great, I'd suggest getting rid of the bumpers somehow, unless you want insurance ;) . Are you sure the c40 is a big enough motor? I know guys in europe run the 380 L motors (similar) in emaxx's, but never knew about there performance.

Hacker has a XL version of the c-40 that might run good

How does the Mtronics esc do?

Very nice looking truck. Definately loose at least the rear bumper, and front if you don't want it. I really like the look of those c40 motors

You may gain a little with the 1/8 diffs. It looks real nice though.

Thanks guys - I get at least 5 minutes of runtime. The C40S is not the biggest motor, but for my driving ability, 30 mph is plenty fast (too fast actually) for the indoor track. After I go 1/8 diff, I should be in mid to high 20's which is probably better suited for the track.

The reason I kept the bumpers is because they make me race in the novice class because there isn't any class for me. Sometimes I let the others take it for a spin and the kids aren't the best drivers sometimes.

One older guy drove my truck and said it was the fastest, quickest thing he ever drove. This is coming from a 1/8 truggy, buggy, MT racer. He couldn't believe the instant power and torque. He couldn't handle the power it was putting out - wheelies galore down the straightaway. I think the wheelies will be limited now with the XL chassis.

The motor does run a tad hot - but I don't care as long as it isn't too hot for me to hold. If anything, the high rpm (about 50,000) adds a nice amount of drag brake and makes it smoother and more controllable than running a slow motor with bigger gearing.

The thing is putting out about 500-600 watts during max acceleration which seems to be more than enough for the track, lightweight revo response tires.

The controller is awesome - hardly body temperature and so far so good. No problems at all.
