Does anyone make paddle tires for buggies?
8th scale paddle tires?
I could sure use a set for one of my local bash spots. |
pro-line used to ...but I am not sure anymore
Panther and Proline have discontinued the paddles for 1/8 scale buggy.
Keep an eye on Ebay and cross your fingers ? |
I have a full set that havent been used. Im lucky!
do you plan on using them?
I always thought sand paddles were cool, but I don't like the idea of sand getting in everything. Too much maintenance for me.
I know Pro-Line used to make them as some others mentioned. I had them for a really old buggy, and unfortunately sold them when I sold the buggy.

@ simplechamp:
I thought the same. when we got to this sandpit, where it was open for miles in every direction, with tons of whoops and berms, etc. you just cannot say no. This place was a place where you can range test DSM @ Brushlessboy16: the sandbox is fairly packed. if you recall, my crt.5 had plenty of traction with its nearly bald tires. you should be find with what you have. I dont see sand paddles being useful unless you are on a beach or something. Remember, its not going to sink in like a full size car or bike, its only a few lbs. Here is the place in question, incase anybody has better insight. http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/i...tPanorama1.png http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/i...s/PICT0029.jpg |
I suppose my bandlands will do, but nothing throws roostertails like paddles
where exactly is that.. It would be a great place to go riding..
Where you able to test the range? What is it?
we werent able to test the actual range, because we would lose sight of the car first. wild, it is next to the intersection of atison rd. and stony creek rd. in atco NJ
