hopefully me and my friend can get one soon! but we are only going to test it in a pool for now. so if something goes wrong, we can save it!

at the slowest rev speed i can run it, the propeller is already spining was looks to be as fast as it did full throttle stock

BL_RV0 08.21.2009 12:47 AM

Awesome!

I have a feeling that running gear isn't going to last long! I want to see the carnage in action!

Have you done any tests in the bathtub to see how the boat sits in the water with all that gear in there?

Metallover 08.21.2009 01:09 AM

I bet $10 on it moving six feet after something breaks with the first pull of the trigger..

But if it does get moving good, I guess about 40mph before it flips over.

What's_nitro? 08.21.2009 01:13 AM

Ummm I'll guess 2.43E^12745 knots... Am I close?

shaunjohnson 08.21.2009 03:58 AM

prop cavitation at 1/4th throttle, boils water round prop at 1/2.

gonna be soooooooooooooooooooooooooo cool:yipi:

I used to have the same boat...

Warpspeed ahead!!!

I bet that you're right... I have tried something similar with a KB45 and a $20 ebay boat....melted the drive system and mounts..

Yes, i put it in the my dogs kittie pool to see if it would float and the back of the boat is half above water but as for the front:

water starts to ease up onto the top becouse it sits so low. the MMM motor is too heavy to be mounted that far up on a boat as small as that one. plus the drivetrain has a HARIBLE vibration in it at like 1/8 throttle so i'm getting out my other radioshack boat witch is bigger and wider and i'm putting it all in their and mounting the thin boat beside it to keep it from flipping (the prop on it is at like a 45 degree angle and the stock motor will flip it if the water's not very calm).

screw on some side pontoons longer than the boat like the Hawaiians. You gotta video some of this. its just funny and cool

gtxracer 08.21.2009 04:19 PM

Awesome, this should be good!
