LST single steering servo Q
What servo saver should I use if I'm going to run my Losi XXL with a single steering servo (7955tg)?
|
The saver that would best suited (Kimbrough Super Duty) will not fit. You have to settle for any saver that will fit or even the stock one is Ok.
Or, if your brave like me, don't run a servo saver. Excellent steering response for sure ! Not recomended for the faint at heart. I've broken Dynamite aluminum servo arms with the same servo in my LST2. |
guess which servo saver I already ordered before posting this thread....
Which servo are you using? |
Ummm, A kimbrough ??
You might be able to get it to work but you'll have to trim a lot off because it's a BIG saver. I have one of these in each of my 2 LST2's with no servo saver; http://www.hitecrcd.com/servos/show?name=HSR-5990TG I broke several of the Dynamite aluminum servo hrons but have switched to the hard anodized Losi horns and there much stronger. |

can you post some pics of what your single servo setup looks like for the rest of us to view. |
Your wish is my command my friend,

thanks for the pic.
How long have you been running this setup? Do you have full steering throw with this setup? Do you still have the RPM and pivot ball stud part numbers? I'm thinking of trying your setup on my lst2's. Thanks tim |
Has Full throw,no issues.
Ben running this set up 4+ yrs, Had a JR 9000T till I swapped out with the RoboServo. http://www.rpmrcproducts.com/product...c/steering.htm |
