Posting pics
Normally I use print screen for capturing files to post on the net, but latley it looks like crap after I post them and a lot of dretail is lost. What do you guys do for like posting CAD or Eagle tree graphs?
Thanks Jeff |
most of use some sort of pic. hosting site such as photobucket. We then just copy the link and paste here.

Yep, Photobucket for me. Works great and easy to use.

I have photobucket, but These are just screen shots using print screen. I basically paste them into Paint and save it as a .bmp or .png or whatever it is. Is there a better way of posting things like CAD or Eagle tree shots? or you guys just putting them into PB?
Thanks Jeff |
Download pics to PB, grab the Image Code (copy and Paste) into your post. Thats it.

I think he means when he does print screen to get a picture of the graph it is turning out fuzzy and hard to see. I think he has the uploading the pic part down and knows how to do that just asking a better way to get a picture of the graph without it being blurry.

^+1 I guess I should have been a little more clear. Jeff |
PB is really crappy quality-wise unless you save as BMP and don't do any rediting, and the filesize can be huge. If you want a lot more image editing functions (like resizing, contrast, etc), use a real graphics program. I use PaintShop Pro (poor man's Photoshop), but you can download GIMP for free, and it is pretty good. There is a learning curve though (at least there was the last time I tried it).
