Comparing what a G3 35C and a TP 40C pack can do... these should be able to do 25C discharge @ 3.7/cell, probably more.
6C charging should be expected as the 40C packs can do 5C, however, it does not benefit you to charge with that setting as it only gets you a minute or two off the charge time, 3-4C charging is optimal, after that, the pay back is minimal. |
I'm waiting patiently to get my hands on these. I have the TP 40c 3S pack, and this thing is a frikkin monster.
I was debating whether or not to get a 4S 40c pack, but I think that may be a little too much. I've had to replace the gears in my center diff once already...which is one too many times. a 40c 4S would be just plain murder on the drivetrain. However...a 45c 3S pack? Hmm....that just might be what the doctor ordered. I must get my hands on some. |
I want to know what charger can charge at 6c

3c charging is already enough for me. It's nice to be able to charge my Hyperion G3 3300 mah 6s pack at 10 amps (max on my EOS0610i) and have it done at 90% TCS in 18 minutes. Heck, ever since I invested in Zippy packs and charged them at 2c, I've never had to wait for a pack to finish charging. There's always a full pack ready by the time I get of the drivers stand. 6c is just scary. For those 5000 mah 6s users, thats over one horsepower from an AC outlet - something that would seriously dim the lights when you turned it on, at least at my house.
