One more MBX6-T

Installing a MMM combo.. have had good luck with it in my Revo. just waiting for my RCM motor mount and a set of rims (the rims and tires are for my Revo)

Thinking of running a 1/16 revo reciver box its nice and small.. http://cgi.ebay.com/Traxxas-1-16-E-R...d=p3286.c0.m14

and other than that I need a way to hold down my lipos.

Nice 6t

How much longer is the 6 vs. the 5T....anyone know?

fallguy 08.30.2009 11:25 PM

not too sure i think it is 10mm.. but that might be the Xray 08 spec to the 09 spec

magman 08.30.2009 11:32 PM

Reason I ask is I am contemplating building a longer chassis for my 5T and was wondering the handling characteristics between the 2 different models

BCE makes the longer chassis.

The mini-revo's receiver box uses the molded chassis for the lower half of the box.

any other small RX boxes out there?

mikey09120 09.01.2009 12:01 AM

full size e-revo servo box

well all of my parts should be n next week.. .im thinking of standing the lipos up on end like in the photo on pack on each side.. motor facing forward and the ESC on top of the center diff or some how on top of the steering survo.. dont want to flip on its side.. but i could.

I got a RPM RX box its pretty small but not super short.. it will work fine in these two areas.

Well got my wheels, tires, motor mount and MMM 2200KV combo in the mail today. funny thing it was 3 different companies shipping to me and they all turned up with in 1 hour of each other.

Just drilled one hole in the RPM rx box and used the chassis brace upper bolt hole.. added some foam so the screw was not tapping the bottom of the RX all the time.

thinking about getting a laser cut plate up top to mount the ESC.. dont know how much I like this spot.. it was that or flip the servo on its side and mount it on top there.. more of a pain.

try finding one though....I am waiting for Mike to finish up his electric chassis for the 6T....I may just buy his chassis when avail. and modify the 5T components to fit.

Use the long shank pinion. That's what I did. Fits perfect. Make sure you reverse your motor direction too.

Just picked one up the LHS had them in stock.. I was kinda shocked, did not think they would be a popular item.

I have ALL of my esc on top of the center diff. I actually prefer it there as apposed to mounted on the chassis
