Rx8 throttle reverse problem
 

Okay, so I've got my RX8 mounted up and ready to rock in my MBX5T. I got th e 1700kv motor on 4s Neu cells (brand new). Read the manual, setup the LVC for 4s, programmed the ESC for my neutral, full throttle, full brake. However, everything is backwards. Throttle and steering alike! Easy fix right? Nope. I reverse them on my M8 and the truck LAUNCHED off my work table, flinging tools and screws all over my garage. That was fun finding all those....I still don't have them all.

I tried programming with the throttle and steering reverse but the ESC is "dumb". It doesn't realize I've switched them and won't program. What gives? How am I supposed to do this?
