Took the win!!!

started off the day well, had to pick up a set of brand new set of Crime fighters for my 8ight, ran the first qualifier and placed 3rd, my MMM keep shutting down on me...

second qualifier, tried a different battery to aleiviate the problem with the MMM, it intensified- I got a DNF.

before the main I decided to open up my MMM to see if anything visible was out of whack- turns out the fan wires had rubbed through there insulation and the insulation of the circuit board and was shorting the bec.

removed the fan and ran the main, ended up winning without really know I did. My first ever win, hooray brushless.. good thing- my batteries died 2 laps after I finished the race:party::party:

that motor came off the track at 164. ran like a champ still, so oh well :)

Did any nitro boys offer to buy your buggy right off you ? I love going to the track running brushless. fart stall nitro boys just beg to buy my cars. I tell them RC-MONSTER.COM and wear the shirt to rub it in. Nice showing Ben

Nop, but I did get some sarcastic threats like "When is your battery going to die, and "i think i see your lipo smoking" all in good fun though..

Glad I raced that well, just running the rest of the pack out, I couldnt make it once around the track without flipping :lol:

That is with that battery of yours :)

The MMM was causing the problem, not the pack.. I ended up soldering new leads on it, and the problem kept coming back, dont know why it never happend with the other battery though:neutral:

Way to go Ben, and that is not just a win. 3 laps over the nitros is an AZZ whoppin. Not to mention a great warning to the rest of them that Brushless is coming fast and we are taking over.
