1950 vrs. wanderer xl
whats going to put out more power on 22.2volts? (if every this else is =). after seeing many vids of wanderer and feigao xl's in action i dont think thats going to be enough for me, i know:eek: right. if money allows i might go with a 2240 or 50 if i can get a center diff worked into my trucks layout
|
I run a 1950 8t in a truck just today. I used to run the 9xl and 7xl before on 18 and 20 for 9xl. The 1950 puts out more than the xl motors. I am not sure how you planning to keep the front tires on ground with more power.

im not :005: so the 1950 puts out more cool thats what i hoped:018: |
I am happy with the motor choice I made. It is hard to keep the tires on the ground. I was out racing cars today. It was a tight run. They was only running 60mph.
|
ya i dont plan on racing at all with this truck so handling and all that jazz isn't to much of a concern to me. i just wont it to take hard hits land sick jumps and hall arse :017:

YOu sound like me now. :D I like to have power to spare. I really like my set up now. I get some decent run times to. What turn motor you going to go with? I was thinking maybe a 7turn for you but not sure what the runtime and speed you looking for. I think it would decent for both.
|
um i dont know yet. i know im going lipo but still havent figured out what mah im going to throw in there prolly 4000. so run time shouldent be to big of an issue.
|
NOt if you run the 4000mah packs. I haven't got a chance to test mine fully yet. I haen't got the runtime down to what I get. I not sure if i have the gearing right yet either. I seem to be about right. It smokes my savage. :D

What's the difference between the 1950 and the 2250?
|
The rotor size. One is 19 mm diameter the other is 22 mm diameter. Has 4mm screws for the 2250 to mount to verse the 3mm screws. The torque is unreal in the 2250. The 1950 is powerful to.

Thanks CHC, man those puppies are expensive.

Are you asking if i love it or telling me you love it. I can say that I love mine right much. I have three lehners now and am happy with all three. The accually surprised me some. I expected it to be like the cheaper brushless motors. What a surprise? To me the lehners are top notch. :028: The others are nice to but just not like lehners. |
Well. it was more of a statement. How can someone not love those motors?
Just the other day I spoke to Mr Lehner himself on the phone. They put alot of effort into these motors. And they stand behind their products 100%. |
