Good choice ? t8 2050 on 4s 8t 2.0

Got a truggy on the way, looking to convert but a total
newbie. I search all over and done alot of reading but
could not find some specifc answer or opinions on this
setup.

track limit to 4s

got a deal lined up on the tekin t8 2050

looking to keep temps down, i seen alot of mention of hot packs etc.... with the mamba 2200 setup.

looking to stay mech brake as well to help
( questions in another thread)

run on midsize track alot of turns.

approx runtime on 5000mah ?

suggestions/advice much appreciated.

looks fine, since you'll be revving 30340 rpm. Just take a look at temps, you'll need a lot of current!

the T8 2050kv motor is for the buggy, so it may run a little hotter in your truggy, than it would in a buggy - apparently its a shorter motor for the buggy, and the truggy gets a slightly longer can - not sure on dimensions tho - would have been able to do a comparison but i just sold my 2650kv T8, as i have the 2000kv truggy combo on the way right now...

Yep, I'd recommend the larger Truggy specific motor also. The 2000kv Truggy motor is what I run on 4S in my buggy and it still can get warm.

No worries man :)

this site is full of motors dood, best way for variety is to just hit brushless motor In a search :) The t8 and neu motors seem to be the most common, mpreso the neu and other neu variations :)
