Cheap insurance

Now this is pretty cool. Keep track of battery, motor and esc temps without all the pesky stopping and bending over. And since I can't bend over.....

That's not a bad idea at all...nice find Harold

pinkpanda3310 09.18.2009 09:12 AM

Yeah, cool idea but did you read the discussion and reveiws? Sounds like it needs some tweaking, better customer back up, and a battery :rules:

bigboi146 09.18.2009 11:40 AM

That's so much better than buying one of those expensive temp guages

Rivermaxx 09.18.2009 12:20 PM

My nomadio radio will tell me the temps right on my display.

I'm sick of all the whining. People can't even figure out that a 9v battery will work fine... 2s lipo is 8.4, so 9v is OK.

It'll give you one temp, not 3!

Right? if they can't figure that out I don't think they should be in r/c

Rivermaxx 09.18.2009 01:07 PM

I am pretty sure I can use 3 temp probes there are 3 telemetry ports, I just have to configure it in the radio to accept temp inputs.

that's cool, I assumed it was like the spektrum wth dedicated ports. I'm learning a lot from you lately:yes:

I was thinking the same thing. If they can't figure out something that simple, maybe this is the wrong hobby for them. Either go nitro, or something simpler, like needlework.

Harsh

You guys are kind of harsh. Nice find Harold, and the price is pretty good as well. Looks like something to add to the Xmas list this year. Hey river so your still using your Nomadio sensor? I still have one in the case, never used. How do you like it?

Rivermaxx 09.18.2009 06:07 PM

I actually have the react and so far its awesome. I dont even have to run an antenna sticking up on the rx it coiled up in the rx box and the range is out of this world. Too bad nomadio reduced support on their rc division to put more emphasis toward the goverment contracts. I personally think its one of the best radios on the market when you can get them. As far as I know the sensors have been discontinued for a couple years now and you still have anew in the box one?

jayjay283 09.18.2009 06:13 PM

I know when Ive over geard or the lipos are too hot, they get friggin puffy and im out $200, BrianG's calc hasn't let me down... cool sailing with my lipos (xcept dat maxamps)

PBO 09.18.2009 06:54 PM

Think I might get me one of those, unclipping the body etc does get a little tedious

Nice find
