Brushless Rampage MT Carrying 55Lbs of Flesh.

I have a few short video clips, a friend had her camera and recorded this for me. I think it only allowed a few seconds at a time for recording

Short Test video on our oval part of the track, the truck makes the track look so small.

Not bad with those Masher styled tires!

Damn, not that's what I call power...pretty insane.

Incorporate a seat onto the chassis with a seatbelt and charge kids for rides...:diablo:

LOL, I thought the video was funny and thought I should share it...

As for plans for the RedCat Rampage... I think I'm finished with it, and will not be ordering the 40.160WK. Seems like the 100A Esc is holding up very well.

I think this beast is done, until I want to make some speed records with the 5th scale...

I will be working on small things such ass mesh mud guard made with something tougher than the Pet Safe screens. A new rollcage will be made with steel, because it's easier to bend and weld. Saw quite a few awesome cages from RedCat's forums.

Maybe post some more race videos from Octobers race...

that is awesome aqwut. although the 2215 is a great motor i really wish i would have kept that 2230 when i had it. it would have been so much better to run. i know mine coulldnt take my daughter for a ride but last night we just bought her a skateboard at wal-mart. shes been getting into skating lately. the first thing i thought of today was tying up a rope and taking her for a ride. but seriously, that motor of yours has more horsepower than those actual little electric jeeps they make for kids. i think those have just a few horses. do you know how many horses you are getting up to with your motor? i know it is capable of up to 15hp at the very most but i was wondering if you have been able to test or know how much its pumping out when you hit the throttle with your current setup?

awesome vids, man. i love it! i really wish we could go bash these together if we were a bit closer. i am gonna try to find some local 1/5ers and put together a golf-course-thrash-and-dash afternoon this fall. that would be fun.

Actually, those kiddie jeeps are powered by 550 sized motors like found in a stock Emaxx or 775 like in a Summit. They just have a serious gear reduction that allows them to push kids as well as stay cool enough to last.

I'm about to re-power my old Bigfoot power wheels for my nephew. A couple of Titan 550's will be my replacement motors.

I ran 6s1p A123 in my son's Bigfoot power wheels. The motors and gears held up as long as he stayed onroad. Homeboy decided to drive through grass and run up a hill. Needless to say he burned the motors up and messed up a gearbox. It wouldn't of happend if I didn't take that fuse out.
I added a resistor to the brake, so the wheels didn't lock up and saves the tranny.

Well my plans were to use 775's on 4s lipo's. My brother didn't like the idea...

Brought back memories of my all aluminum AJ's Black Magic Monster Truck motor, PDI Zeta powered Clod Buster. I used to pull myself in a Red Wagon with it. People in my complex used to think I was nuts. I should've never sold it.

Ryu James 09.28.2009 06:47 PM

sounds like fun lutach.

thats crazy those little jeeps only run motors that big. i thought they ran motors more like the size of a blender motor and just geared very low. obviously they are geared as you said but a couple of titans? thats nuts. i could serioulsy build my kids a truck. if you were motivated enough you could slap a wood box and a powerful driveline and have some great fun! think of using a couple of those lehners and sending your kids down the street in a wood box at 50mph. hahaha. the image is too funny. screaming and crying, arms waving, hair flying. whoa, i am not really a kid tormenter. just seemed funny for a sec.
