I have a spektrum micro receiver, will it work with the MX3FG from airtronics?
 

I have not kept up on the new radio technology and am only used to the old am/fm 27/75mhz stuff. I bought a truck that came with the Spektrum micro receiver (I looked it up, that bad boy retails for almost 100 and sells on ebay for 50-60 bucks) so I would like to run it (its nice cuz its so darn small).

Anyway...will this work with any other radios besides the spektrum series? I am interested in the Airtronics MX3 FG and was hoping it will work with that radio.

I heard there are some range problems with the spektrum radio setups so I am wondering is it the radio, receiver or combination of the both?

spektrum is DSSS and airtronics are FHSS
