wonder what happens now...

...if you obliterate a Mamba max under warrenty....if they couldn't repair it i wonder what'd happen.
i dont have a max no more but still interesting to know what'd happen:wink:

brushlessboy16 10.12.2009 09:04 AM

IIRC.

If its under warranty they will replace it

Dont quote me on that

phildogg 10.12.2009 09:41 AM

I think he means would you receive another mamba max or would you get the mamba pro.

IIRC, they still produced some Mamba Max's.

I'll let you know later this week. I have a completely trashed MM that I'm bringing with me when I go to visit CC in a few days. I imagine you just pay the out of warranty fee and get a new MM.

I called. you pay half retail price and turn in the damaged esc and can get a MMP:yes:

Gotta love castle!

So, what is the retail price of the MMPro? I really don't "need" the features of the MMPro for the vehicle that the MM burnt in, so it's a matter of paying the $50 for a MM, or whatever the price of the MMPro is, /2.

V0RT3X 10.12.2009 03:10 PM

70$ or somewhere around that. (new is 130$)

shaunjohnson 10.12.2009 04:27 PM

i kinda liked the old Mamba max.
this little ESC really got 1/8th scale racing off the ground for electrics.

heck, it started the brushless revolution!
its the best 1/10th scale esc of all time. from brushed to brushless the mm had you covered and still does. i think it should still be in production just a limited amount.

I agree. It did start the affordable brushless revolution.
