PWM timing for Castle/Neu 2200 kv
Fried my MMM again and now I'm fed up with this thing.:diablo: I'm using my MGM Z3 again.
Only have 1 question regarding PWM setting for the MGM, can't find the information anywhere on the net, so if you people using MGM's with NEU motors from the 15.. series, what is the correct PWM for them: 8k, 16k or 32k? If anybody here is using an MGM from the Z or E series in conjunction with a Neu motor, could you pls be so kind and post your (ofc working) setup? :rules: I still have to fight a little cogging at launch (not that bad, but still) and, what's much more annoying, the controller simply cuts off hard way sometimes (means I can only relaunch the car after a hard reset, e.g. switching the controller of and on) when batterie drops below 50% of capacity. If I understand the instructions right, voltage cutoff should only last until the car stops and the transmitter is in neutral again? I'm using premium 5s lipo packs, so voltage drops (according to the MGM blackbox) are minimal. |
8k (default) is fine for Castle Neu motor (same as MMM). I had problems even getting mine to work using the lipo setting, and the default 70% is not great either (25035 E-series and castle neu). I ended up setting the universal voltage to 3.2 and it works fine now.
