Hyperion 606i charger you mean? No, will work fine so long as you have the correct balancer board/adaptor for the hyperions (stock one I believe is correct). Otherwise link please to charger?

You are fine. I have the same setup (for now) with the 0606i and Hyperion g3's. I believe our chargers are 6A charge rate. Some of the newer, more powerful ones are up to 20A charge rate.

Basically, our chargers will not utilize the full charging potential the G3's offer, which is fine, but sometimes it's nice to have that quick charge (at the track).

I plan on getting the Hyperion DUO 3 charger this winter as soon as I have some extra dough laying around.

Oh, and your balancing taps are compatible too.

Yes, the 6061 comes with Hyperion/PQ balance taps.

I have the 720i. Its nice to be able to charge a 2s 5500 G3 Vx at 20 amps.

Out of curiosity, how long does that take from cut-off? Do you have a AC converter?

I rarely charge the at the full 20amps. And I rarely run them to LVC. Putting about 4000-4500mah pack in the pack at 11amps takes roughly 24-30 minutes.

I use a River Gate 30amp Power supply.
