Can I put 4s lipo into a start box?

Hi, what's the max voltage for a starter box? It is the regular twin silver can design. It can take two 7.4v or 12v batt.

So can it handle 4s or higher thx guys!

If you wire the motors in series you will be fine..

but what the heck are you doing with a starter box anyways

Lol good question, was thinking to make the starter box run like a ep car!

It's my friend's starter box. He runs ep n nitro. Was trying to help him out. Thx man!

U may have thought I gave up ep. NEVER!

4S lipos are perfect for starter boxes. I run two turnigy 5000mah 20c on my box, and after a weekend of racing where I ran a buggy and truggy, the voltage is just under 4v for each cell. It also gives the starter box more oomph than the 12v batts.

If it's already set up for 2 stick packs or a 12V battery no need to rewire it.

been using 4S lipo in my startbox for couple years.

ofna truggy starter box with dual 775 size motors + 4S lipo = THE BEST startbox u can have (unless u have very narrow car like mugen mbx6 )
