Medusa motor stopped working

Was running my car yesterday and all of a suden it groud to a halt making some nasty noises, Ive stripped my Medusa 2000kv motor and from what i can see the magnet which surround the shaft have all broken in half about half way down the shaft, does this seem possible and can you buy spares for these? what would cause this type of failure?

If its fubar think i will try the new LRP motor..

Thanks

IRRC the 80mm motors had issues with the rotor detaching from the magnet. Sounds to me like cactus and no replacements as medusa have quit rc gear.

There is a few methods of reattaching the magnet to the shaft- read around here and you're sure to find some. They will most likely work as long as your windings aren't destroyed as well.

Also, that works as long as the magnets themselves aren't broken.
