Servo + ESC on one reciever channel?

Hi
is it possibly to plug in a servo and a ESC on one receiver Channel?

I want to use the Savage disk brake and a BL Speedcontroller.

Thanks for the help

Does your radio have a 3rd channel? If so can it be mixed with the throttle channel? If not, your way could/should work with a Y cable that would allow you to plug the ESC and the extra servo.

Yes, this is definitely possible; just use a Y cable. However, getting the servo to work perfectly with the ESC might be a bit of a PITA. You can probably fiddle with the mechanicals to allow it to work. But, if your radio has channel mixing and is a 3 channel radio, you can slave ch3 to the throttle channel. Use the throttle channel to the ESC and ch3 to the servo. This allows them to be controlled with the throttle trigger, yet each has their own endpoints, travel adjustment, etc.

You shouldn't fry anything. Do like BrianG said, he's one of the electronics' guru in this wonderful forum.

I will try a V-cable. Thanks

Another question:
Which oil should i use for my savage shocks?

Which radio do you have?

Generally, it will work fine. Some systems (like the nitro Revo for example) actually use dual servos wired with a Y connector for steering and it runs fine. Of course, if the servo goes bad, things can blow, but that can happen to any system.

Its an old Hitec Aggressor with HFS-03mm. I want to try it first, before i buy a better tx/rx combo.

Y cable, not V. I never seen a V cable before.

Of course a Y-cable
