powermat wireless charging

has anyone seen the powermat for wirelessly charging personal devices? How does it work?

yeah...i was about to buy one but you have to put your blackberry...iphone..psp....whatever you have...in this special case....the charging...ummmm....thingamabob...(i'm no electric whizz :)) is on the back of the case and when that thingamabob touches the powermat...anywhere...it hooks up and charges...its actually pretty cool but i'm the only iphone user in my house...and i don't have a psp or a blackberry....and i like the case my iphone is in right now... :)

Yeah, $100 for the Mat... Plus the adapters. I didn't look at the adapters. All I have that would use it is a DS...

Magnetic Induction charging.

pretty sure its just transfer of energy through magnetism.

Wish they were higher power, wireless lipo charging

could it be simaler to the one they use for PS3 controlers? its just a bunch of bars that have current runing through them...
