Killed my Mamba Max?
I had my Rustler at the BMX track earlier today and it simply quit running. When sitting still everything seemed fine and there was no smoke or bad smells but whenever a significant load (such as trying to move) was placed on the motor my Rx and servo would shut down and then re-arm. When I picked it up off the ground and ran it it was fine, and I tried another motor and it did the same thing (MM 5700, if it makes any difference). I plugged it into my computer thinking I may be able to re-load the firmware to fix it and the lights won't come on and neither my main box or my laptop would connect to it. I have some video of it if it would help, but all it really is is the thing dying every time I hit the throttle.

The rotor may have demagnetized itself. happened to my 7XL motor this week after serving me well for more than a year.

Motor works fine when it is off the ground and there is no load on it and I tried a friend's Mamba Max 5700 motor on it and it did the same thing.

sounds like either a bad connection (broken/weak) or a dead brain board.

Shaun got it right. One of the phases is not kicking in.

dunno about the phases, cause htey will still run on 2 phases if you get it started manually, not good fir it i bet, but i did it with a VXL ESC and that is a "dumb" ESC in comparrison so it dosent care:lol:
