My RC8Te

Here are a few pictures of my newest build. Itīs an RC8Te kit with Tekin RX8, AKA tires an a Traxxas servo.

It runs supersmooth on 4s, which I think will be a perfect setup for a small track, but 5s is also very controllable, on this truggy.

Looks good. All metric hardware on those? Thinking I may need a truggy soon.

Yes it is metric hardware. I have a FFactory Team RC8T and I used a RC-Monster full chassis conversion kit on it. I raced all summer long with it and loved it

OOOh sounds good, I was thinking the RCM kit as well.

Mike's kits are sooooo nice. If I was racing, I would definitely get an RC8T w/Mike's kit.

He has one for the mbx-6T and I have a 5T so...I am thinking of buying his chassis, switching things over and having the first 5.5T:yes:

Just a thought

nice truggy, but it deserves a better servo than the traxxas stuff. Isn't it a bit weak for a steering servo?

I missed that at first glance...good catch.:mdr: I agree..hopefully you will give your truggy some love and get it a better servo..

Yeah I know. It works ok, and was just layin with my other stuff.

I am wondering if I should get one of the Futaba BL servos. They are a bit pricy though.

I would recommend you an Ace DS1313, you should be able to find them for around $75. Very strong and reliable.

OK, I will check that one out.
