How can they recomend these lipos ?

I found this clip on yputube were someone at hpi recomeds you to use 3600mah 28 3s pack in a flux truck ? That caŽn't be right ? Those packs can only deliver 100amps cont ? choulden't it be 120amps minimum ?

If they are running 3s it over 200 amp continues.

I said the exact same thing to the HPI rep on that vid or another official one, and he just gave the same BS line about Castle saying you need 100amps, therefore those lipos are fine.

In reality, I wouldnt run anything less than 5000mah and 25c, regardless of brand, atleast that way you have some kind of overhead.

You'd need someone who knows all the technical lingo & such to argue the point for needing better lipos when using the MMM, otherwise you just get the same repsonses as I see under that video. The HPI reps and tech guys really dont know anything about the MMM system, other than more voltage = faster :sarcastic:

Pair of 3s for 6s total- makes it even worse given the whole gearing situation, plus heavy MT + highspeed + off road = increase load > need better lipos.

Not worth trying to explain it, let the noobs fry their lipos and then moan at HPI for recommending them...:diablo:
