Epa

hallo boys when you program the esc, the EPA settings is 100% o 120%???

coolhandcountry 02.26.2006 05:35 PM

I set mine to 100%. If you program it at 100% leave it there or go down.

virusss 02.26.2006 05:37 PM

why not 120%?

No need, you program the controller the adjust to the maxximum travel. if you program it with epa on 120, he sees the 120 as 100 percent.

ah ok i understand, thanks

my XS3 goes to 125% and i set it there. Then i reset the epa for 100%, if i need more i can go up, but most places i run i can set it for 100% after i set the esc to 125% and its enough cause of lack of traction

So basically, that would have the same effect as calibrating your ESC at 100% EPA, and then increasing it to 125% when/if you need it right?

yep - like a little more steering ( if you have more one way than the other for eg.)

coolhandcountry 02.28.2006 09:17 AM

No accually it is more like programming it at 100 then droping to 80 to run. Only use the 100 when track allows. I have done this before as well. It gives you little more control over the throttle input of the car.
