which battery would you go for---hobbycity
looking at 3 possiblities for my 2s pede setup
http://hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store...dProduct=9748# http://hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store...idProduct=8973 http://hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store...dProduct=10083 im not set on these 3 so if you know of something better then let me know would like it to be able to ship from a us warehouse but this is not a must.. but keep in mind it has to be able to fit into the stock pede chassis... thanks |
I would go for the 4000mah one.
I have no idea what fits or not though (sorry). But from a quick glance, here is what I saw. The 4000mah is rated 25C (so that's 100amps) while the other two are 30C. The 3300 30C means 99amps, which is more or less the same, but you are paying more for less capacity - I see no point, so that one is out. The 5000mah one costs more than double than that of the 4000mah one, though, of course, it provides much more current (5000mah at 30C is 150amps). However, I don't think it'll make much of a difference unless your pede is 10lbs and geared to 80mph. So, based on that, I would recommend the 4000mah one. It is the cheapest and provides plenty of juice (assuming the C ratings and what not are accurate). |
the batts are not in the US they are in germany warehouse.

Buy the best battery you can afford... So I would go with the 2s 5k pack. And those you linked to are only available to ship to Germany and France.
This is the pack I would buy, 40c and cheap! : http://hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store...00mAh_2S1P_40C |

I have several of the 4k 25c hard cases. They fit perfect in a stock pede. I am afraid any of the 5000's are going to need some serious dremeling. I'd pick them up, they will fit in the majority of vehicles without modding, work great, and cheap. I havn't tried any of the 5k hard case, but they look squared off, might still be fine in the pede, but I don't kow about other stock type cars.

HC also have a killer deal on the 4500 2s2p flat LiFe packs, 25 bucks or something like that. I bought one just to try out. Maybe in a brushed truck so I do not have to use a esc with a lvc. |
