So what's your CA glue story?

Well, I feel kinda stupid right now. I just bought a bottle of lock-tight with cap that pierced the seal with a twist. I checked to see if I broke the seal by sniffing the bottle while lightly squeezing it. Long story short, there is CA glue up my nose.:whistle: I've also glued my hand to a model rocket I was working on once. :mdr:

So what's your story? I know everybody has one!

So, which is it? Lock-tite or CA? Either way, that's pretty funny. Come on now, you can tell us the truth: it was that actually your method of huffing, wasn't it?

tried to speed up the curing time with a lighter, my eyes/nose was crusty....

Nothing serious, just my vingers together and one finger to a rim when I was glueing for the first time. Also had the thin Proline glue so it's like a second and it's hard :D

HAHAHAH, well, hopefully it stays hard for longer than a second!!!!

I love taking stuff out of context.

I glued a tire to my finger once, had to trim the skin off the finger to save the tire!!!! And then every time I l ran that truck i could see the little piece of skin. Funny.

well, first off I should have never been in the workshop in only boots. (this was before the wheelchair when I could walk) but I had just broke a bed and needed to cut a piece of angle iron. I knew I was just going to get back into bed as soon as it was level again, so why get dressed??

I found the perfect piece of angle iron in the correct length in the scrap pile, it just had an "ear" that needed to be cut off. So I grabbed the pneumatic cut off wheel and set to work.

Well, the "ear" cut off quite easily and turned into a projectile with a direct course to my johnson. If you've never cut your johnson, they bleed, alot, and for a long time. The bleeding just wouldn't stop, and I was seriously considering a trip to the E.R.

Then I remembered Derma-bond! (hospital super glue they use in place of stitches) It's basically just super glue, so in a flash of genius I decided to do some home doctoring.

Well, when your johnson is bleeding profusely your cognitive reckoning isn't quite what it should be, and for that matter your usually skilled and trained hands aren't as stable as they normally are.

I cleaned the area well and knew just a drop would do, but I was nervous. One drop turned into a few, and just a little on the affected area turned into alot there, and on my fingers.

Now, the bleeding had stopped, but I had three fingers and two thumbs permanently attached to my unit. Not bad all in all, but highly impracticle.

At the time I didn't know there were releasing agents for super glue. All I was left with was thinking, "penis or fingers, somethings losing skin".

So, one at a time, I ripped digits from my crank. 3 of the digits lost skin, but 2 brought skin with them. Luckily, no more blood was shed, but I wasn't the same for over a week.

Never use power tools naked.

I saw that you had replied after me Harold, and was thinking that I could make a great joke about you and ca and your wang... I did not expect to read that you had actually done that. Sorry for your wang, but it is a funny story.

Not CA glue but glue related. My first kitten a few years ago the day after I brought him home got his paw stuck in a sticky spider trap and freaked out and got it attached to his face as well as his paw, he looked like he was doing a permanent military solute.
