3100kv on 4s
I upgraded the battery and body of my Super RS-4 and cannot wait to see it go. I changed the boby to a parma wedge and I am now running 4s. The wheels up 4s bench test was night and day over the 3s. I feel the foams that are there now...will not last for much longer.

Upgrading to a higher cell count usually means more care is needed for your tires

I totally agree. The 3s is killing them so I know the 4s is going to be murder. I have another set on order as well as I am going to try slicks again with the new body. Down force makes an incredible difference.

Should be fun to watch if nothing else... |
The difference....
Is 4.2 more volts to the motor totaling more than 12000 RPM to the motor.:yipi::yipi:
The first dry day it is going out. |

What were those sparks from in the second video? :oh:

Sparks...
Yep...that is exactly it. The Parma wedge body really creates some serious down force. The lower chassis is carbon fiber and is holding up well...but the rear bulkhead screws are taking a beating. I would love to get hold to a Mamba pro and run this thing with 5s but I don't think the Medusa would like that much.

As a rule of thumb I use 3.7v per cell and calculate another 20-25% for the medusa motors.

Updated...3100 on 6s
3 Attachment(s)
4s was not enough. I upgraded the Super Rs4 to run 6s. Using a Mamba Max Pro and 2 3s battery packed I modified my already fast rocket into something all together faster, quicker and extremely more fun. Here are a few upgrade pics and the 6s bench test. The rear wheel did not fair so well.

At least everything looks well-balanced. Good luck finding traction with that much power. It'll be fun either way.
