making my own data port?

hey if i could get a quick answer on this thatd be great..

i bought the lba10 balancer and figured it would come with a data port...... well it didn't..

so can i just make my own out of the plugs that i have?

strip a female end and solder on a male end?

thanks

Pretty much, yeah- its just a glorified rx cable so far as I can tell.

alright i thought the same

i went ahead and made my own

on the charger when i have it start it still sais (balancer advised)

is this normal? or am i doing something wrong

using the lba10 with 1210i. heres how i do it

turn the charger on with balancer plugged in. attach the balancer plugs, then power plugs from battery to balancer... hold the button to get it to go to lipo and once it blinks n stuff i set the charger to go..

thanks
