Just having a whine

It's not even Summer in Sydney (well a couple of weeks away anyway) and this weekend we had some heat! At my house Saturday was 41C (106f) & about 85% humidity but Sunday was 45C (113f) & 75% humidity, it was still 40C at 7.30pm...freakin ridiculous!! It was made worse because I don't have AC - which is being installed Friday...why when you order AC does it ensure a heatwave??

Yeah, I know...whaa, whaa

scarletboa 11.22.2009 05:24 PM

that's just brutal. we get the same temps where i live, but the humidity is nothing like that. it usually stay below 30%. it gets up to 118F here, but the lower humidity makes it seem not so bad.

Would you like cheese with that whine ?

Here in Florida we are in the middle of Fall and it was 84 today, Still pretty nice though.

Damn! I live in the Netherlands, and sometimes it snows over here in November. But the past last days we got awesome weather! 17C and sunshine, enough to drive outside with a t-shirt on.

Hey BrianG, before he gets his a/c would it be alright for him to use a FAN

Took the family wakeboarding yesterday to try & escape the heat but it was honestly like looking into a hair dryer while underway in the boat. We would normally see temps like this in late December/January...thought I'd get in early on the AC

same down here mate.
we are used to about 10*c lower than you...it still is, but instead of 20*c summers...it's 30 outside now!! too much for us who are used to the colder stuff.

E-Revonut 11.22.2009 09:41 PM

Well right now I should be looking outside at some white stuff and instead we have been seeing temps up into the 60's(F) last week. Over the summer we where constantly in the 90's with 90%+ humidity, the humidity is a killer, made work brutal and a couple nights at the track I had to ask if it was even worth it!

Metallover 11.22.2009 09:41 PM

Sounds like the southern hemisphere has is worse then the northern hemisphere..

Unsullied_Spy 11.23.2009 04:55 PM

Heat's on, but only set to 60. Power/Gas bill from last month was $250 and I expect this month will be worse
