lookin for a truggy rolla

so 've narrowed it down to 3 possibilities:
Kyosho st-rr
Mugen Mbx5t
Ofna Jammin CRT

any input would be helpful. I'm looking for handling and durability.
Thanks!

anyone?
Also castle creations black friday sale looks right...I'm looking between the 1520 and the 1717 motors for a Losi Muggy project thats been lagging on for almost a year now. the 1520 is 88mm in length and the 1717 is 83mm...and it says ideal for Muggy applications.
Thanks!

I have and RC-m Rc8t forsale, Rebuilt and all fresh. i sent ya a pm about it.

Urgeoner 11.26.2009 12:21 PM

Thanks. But how does the RC8T compare to the mbx5t or st-rr as far as balance and durability?

wallot 11.26.2009 01:01 PM

st-rr from durability point of you = JUNK - at least from what I have seen at races with ST-RR not finishing quite often

MBX5T is tank that will survive everything

RC8T can withstand quite a lot of punishment but not as much as mugen however it is more agile.

rootar 11.26.2009 04:13 PM

The rc8t will handle way better than either of those and is closer to the mugen in durability with the st-rr being pretty low on durability.

the rc8t is a much better truck than either of those...

Its also a newer truck, so its more on par with the MBX6T

so does everyone think that the associated rc8t is better than mbx5t?

bigsteel 11.28.2009 04:33 PM

by far, i had an RC8 and an RC8T and both were VERY good to me.only cracked an arm on the T by planting it on the track stakes.--josh

hows the ofna crt x2?

Nard Cox 11.28.2009 07:35 PM

I bought an RC8Te myself. Am very happen with it so far. Has taken a nice beating on a BMX track without any trouble.

magman 11.28.2009 09:06 PM

I own a mbx-5t and would put it up against ANY truggy as far as durability goes...in saying that, if you are going to race, the newer truggies will handle better.

magman 11.28.2009 09:07 PM

If you could pick up a used mbx-6T, that would give you the best of both worlds

Urgeoner 11.28.2009 10:19 PM

Thanks Mag...but doesnt the mbx6t have some durability issues? I will be bashing for the most part...
I am also looking at a Jammin CRT X2 those look pretty good.

magman 11.28.2009 11:25 PM

I am not sure...my 5T is bomb proof so that is what my basis stems from
