What's the max amp to charge a lead battery?

I have a car lead battery I am using for outdoor charging. It's 35,000 Mah.

What amp can I charge it & program the Hyperion charger.

Can I set it at 35,000mah n charge it at 10amps? I think my Hyperion max amp is 12?

Will it overcharge & explode?

I think you're only supposed to charge Pb and SLA batteries at about 10-15% of their total capacity. So for a 35Ah battery that would be about 3.5-5A

Indeed, car batteries should be charged overnight with a pretty low current- sort of thing you want to look up rather than go ahead and do it anyway, unless you wanna be living in a tent for xmas after your house burns down. Simplechamp is pretty much bang on.
