HP batts have weird wiring on their plugs:
http://www.allerc.com/images/Picture...25-0850-XX.jpg But, I have found a possible answer: http://www.allerc.com/Pictures/LBA10...Manual-ENG.pdf ( page 4 ) Normally, lipo wiring starts with the main red wire ( first cell ), then all the blacks follow in sequence for each other cell; with HP lipos, it seems you start with the main black wire ( last cell ), then all the others follow with the main red for the 1st cell coming last as it were. Fecked up. I've done a rough diagram, but it just doesnt look right to me- if you get the wiring order wrong at any point in the 3 plugs used (including lipo's one), then its game over. I would pony up the ~$5 and shipping for the proper balancer board and the there's no question of the wiring being right or wrong: http://www.allerc.com/product_info.p...oducts_id=3159 |
I don't mind the actual Hyperion connectors, but don't like the fact they skip slots they way they do. I just reorder the wires so they are sequential and then am free to use whatever balancer/cable I want without needing a special adaptor for each pack.

The question is confusing. The above two responses assume a hyperion battery, but it sounds to me he's trying to charge a battery with a jst-xh balance plug, but only has the hyperion board.
I think this is what you need, and will allow you to charge batteries with the jst-xh plug from 2-6s http://www.allerc.com/product_info.p...oducts_id=3159 Which specific charger and battery do you have? edit:re-re-read and believe my info may be redundant. d'oh! |

Vort3X is that a 6S Hyperion male plug in the 1st pic at the top of your relpy. To furthur explabe I have purchased 2 2S Turnegy batteries.I own a Hyperion EOS 5 I charger and hyperion LBA 10 6S Balancer. My hyperion balance plugs are 7 pin connectors.

I think it's a 5 pin.(same as my adapter) You can see the wiring here:
This is from my NET3 manual: http://img27.imageshack.us/img27/476/dscn1233m.th.jpg I'm using the balance boards, which are cool. |
@ PM: your best bet would be to get a balance board and adapter for your charger.
I made a "universal" adapter for my hyperion based 8pin charger. I can plug certain taps right into it, or it fits the myriad balance adapter boards out there. Basically I used a hyperion 8pin male plug (into charger) connected to some 0.1" headers. I got the two 4 pin headers from an old computer part actually. I unsoldered them, and then re attached to a spare blank circuit board I got from Ratshack way back when for making led light harnesses. Very handy. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y25...h_68d785ae.jpg |
