I really like the new body with flared fenders on the BL E-Maxx. I bought another 3905 a month ago after getting rid of my 2 others I've had since they came out ( sold to fund other builds). My new one is getting it's first upgrades this week in the form of RPM shock towers after breaking my rear tower last night. Looks like your going the same route as I already have the rest of those blue RPM parts saved to my wish list. Where did you get the green springs? I have only seen them as part of a 40pc set, I want stiffer springs!

the green springs are from the 40 pc set, integy. the brown ones are on the blue maxx with big bores and 50 wt. not sure what i'm going with on the 3908 yet. the springs are just another thing I borrowed from popoxx's build on the traxxas forum and now on here/rcm. he has a great build thread and bashing videos. I love the look of the new brushless edition, ordering 2 more 3908 bodies for the other maxx's. I just came home from the lhs with 2 common sense rc 5200mah 25c 2c 7.4v lipo's, castle link and another 17mm hub conversion. :yipi:

I may try the trinity Monster springs, look to be decent and the price isn't bad. If your LHS is anything like mine I can't imagine what you just spent on Lipos! My lhs sells equivalent lipos for about $120-130 each. I can get two top notch 2s lipos for about the same as one of theirs!
