Mayhem St
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...L:COSI:US:1123
Im new to the truggy world and ive heard there stronger than most mt's so i bought this rig on a whim. Are they any good? How durable are they? Im using it just for strait bashing i dont race, I would like to run some nice power through it (6s lipo xl type motor). its got some work that needs to be done to it but it already has some nice upgrades. tell me what ya think guys? |
That should make a great basher. I have a Mayhem buggy, very tough, only broke a few rod ends. It is my basher now that I got new race buggy. Only bad part is they have all been discontinued, so finding parts at hobby shops will get difficult. The good part is, parts are very cheap on ebay. I really miss that when buying parts for my new buggy, much more expensive.
|
Is there any parts that are interchangeable with any other rig?
Bdebde- I see your buggy has some carbon fiber goodies on it where did you get them? i cant find any thing for my st :( |
Many of the Mayhem and turmoil buggy parts fit the ST. The diffs are the same ratio as in the Losi Muggy, and the rest of the diff parts are the same as LST2 and also 8ight.
The CF parts are the sportwerks upgrade parts... some on this page. |
does any body know where i could get the stock axle stubs that go to the wheels?Amain doesn't have them nether does horizon.
|
e-bay?
|
I looked I couldent find it
|
THIS seems cheap enough to get the whole axle.
|
Oh those are for buggy THESE are for ST
|
OK just the stub axle
|
Ah! I was searching under sportwerks mayhem, I guess I should of took the mayhem off :)
Thx bdebde, you just save me from having to spend 70 in new wheels and tires! |
I've seen a mayhem st on here that had a plastic spur to run standard pinions, i took my diff apart to find out I have no clue how to get the spur off.
Can any body help? |
Four screws on the side. You don't have a manual? It is on p14.
|
I didn't have a problem finding the 4 screws, it was getting the diff gear off the output so i could change the spur. I sat there looking at it looking for a set screw a c-clip something, till i dropped it and the gear fell off.
I felt like a jack-A$$ lol |
Good one,
