spur gear that fit CEN Matrix TR?
 

I'm looking for a smaller spur for my CEN Matrix Truggy...anybody know a good one that could fit?

I have a Cen Matrix buggy and the Hot Bodies LSP/ D8/D8t diffs dropped right in. I got sick of the leaky cen diffs and the weak outdrives on mine so I dropped in the Hot Bodies diffs center and rear. RCM hot bodies center diff mount bolted right up with a hot bodies lsp front diff mount. You can buy the D8/D8t hardened, cross pinned diffs on ebay for $18-$23 shipped and use a kyoshso 48t spur on the center diff. The Cen spiral gear fits right on to the HB diff cups as well if you want to swap out the front and rear.

Thanks! Now when you say the RCM hot bodies center diff mount, are you talking about the brushless motor mount? Because i just ordered the CEN motor mount! And what do you mean by the LSP front diff mount?

Mind you, I have the Cen Matrix buggy, not the truggy so I am not sure if the center diff mounting holes on the chassis are the same. You will have to compare the center diff mount part numbers on Cen's website.

Yes, I used a RCM brushless motor mount for the Hot Bodies LSP. The LSP center diff did not quite fit the stock Cen center diff mount. I used the RCM LSP mount combined with the front part of this:

The spacing of the center diff mounting holes on the buggy chassis are 3.5cm X 2.5cm.

I may be wrong, but if you want to ditch the big stock spur on the truggy, you will also have to change the tooth count on the stock front and rear spiral gears on the f&r diffs.

anyone here used different differentials for their CEN Matrix Truggy? Are the stock diffs up to the task of brushless?

this truggy seems like a pain in the ass to convert! So I'm just gonna buy a 46t spur CEN part# msx24 and see where it goes from there. I noticed that a lot of people do the Hot bodies diffs front and rear, not sure why exactly?
