converting a t maxx 3.3
 

anyone ever done it? I'd like to try.

I did a sportmaxx a while back... Used the old single speed tranny internals, a 15l and a bk esc. With nimhs..... If you have a tmaxx sell it off and buy a new emaxx, much better truck and easy to add bl to.

If you can put up with all the childess crap, there were several conversions done in the Traxxas forums.

I did one...To make your life MUCH easier..pick a gorilla maxx chassis if you can find one. I tried other chassis set ups, but the GMaxx set up by far is best. You will also need new diffs ifyou plan to run on on 5s or more.

I agree with what everyone said. I did it with my thunder chassis but it was better to just get a gmaxx chassis and build from it.
